Dietitian
Eve is an
accredited, practicing dietician with an extensive background in
nutrition, early childhood education, childbirth education and
breast-feeding counselling.
Eve
specialises in paediatric nutrition with a special interest in
nutritional assessment of children and adolescents, feeding behaviours,
vegetarian diets, weight management, food allergies and nutritional
management of children with disabilities.
She is a
senior member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at The
Children's Hospital, Westmead, where for the past 12½ years she has
been involved in nutrition research, working with children requiring
nutrition assessment, nutritional support and general nutrition
education.
Eve is
consultant dietitian to Allowah Children's Hospital as well as
conducting a private practice at Central Paediatrics and in Artarmon.

Jane
Allen Dip Nut Diet, APD, PhD
Paediatric
Dietitian
Jane
has been involved with children’s nutrition for 30 years in various
capacities.
Formerly
Jane was in charge of Clinical Dietetics at the Children’s Hospital at
Camperdown and more recently a researcher at the James Fairfax Institute
of Paediatric Nutrition at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Jane’s
PhD thesis involved the nutritional assessment of children with a
chronic disease (PKU) and her subsequent research work has involved
nutritional assessment of children with other medical conditions
including cystic fibrosis, liver, renal and Crohn’s diseases and
children with disabilities.
She
is also involved in a study within the Vietnamese community of the
growth and feeding practices of Vietnamese infants in South West Sydney.
During
her working career Jane has had experience in advising parents and
children in all aspects of clinical nutrition.
