Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Donna has been providing speech
pathology services to children with communication, swallowing,
eating, and drinking difficulties for over ten years.
She completed her Bachelors degree at
Sydney University in 1991 and has recently completed her Masters
degree at Macquarie University, where she specialised in
communication disorders.
Donna has worked in a number of
private and government organizations both locally and overseas,
where she has worked in and managed a School Age Therapy Service
and an Area Speech Pathology Service.
She has developed specialist skills
in early communication, paediatric feeding, developmental
disability and augmentative/alternative communication (that is,
use of gestures, signs, symbols to supplement communication
skills).
Donna is committed to providing a
quality Speech Pathology service to infants, preschool and school
age children who have difficulties in the areas of communication
(including speech production, understanding language and using
spoken language), swallowing, eating, and drinking. This is
achieved through assessment, diagnosis and the provision of an
individualized therapy program.
